With 15+ years experience as Associate Professor in Computational Biomechanics, Dario made the leap from research to entrepreneurship and founded Forceteck with Roy in 2024. Dario is a Biomedical Engineer by training and holds a PhD in Human Physiology. He is an Enterprise Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, graduating from the programme in January 2026.

David has a PhD in computer vision specialist and biomechanist and a master’s in nanophysics and Sports Sciences. He developed Pose2Sim, an open-source tool used globally for markerless motion analysis from everyday video. His work combines synthetic human animations, AI, and anatomy to improve pose estimation accuracy. At Forceteck, David leads the development of computer vision and pose estimation pipelines.​​​​​​​

James holds an MSci in Sport and Exercise Science and a PhD in Computational Biomechanics from the University of Bath, where he honed his expertise in musculoskeletal modelling and computer simulation.  James is also skilled in advanced statistical analysis and data interpretation. At Forceteck, he leads our quality assurance and product testing, ensuring our technology delivers accurate, reliable, and scientifically robust results for performance analysis.

Miles is a sports media and technology specialist who has delivered major rights deals across broadcast, betting and data for organisations such as STATS Perform and DAZN, and has worked with leading competitions including La Liga, the WTA, the EHF and UEFA club tournaments. He later managed key commercial accounts at Deltatre, including the NFL and BT Sport. At Forceteck, Miles brings strategic insight on how performance data and AI can drive value across the sports media ecosystem, helping shape opportunities in rights, fan engagement and data innovation.

With 20+ years in global healthcare and tech, Roy brings expertise in digital transformation and business strategy. He’s the founder of Healthinnova and co-founder of Forceteck. Roy has held leadership roles at Microsoft, Telstra, and GE Healthcare, and also serves as NED on the boards of NHS and Age UK. At Forceteck, Roy brings sharp governance and drives business growth and strategy.

Andrea is a PhD researcher at the University of Bath, specialising in Bayesian machine learning and computational biomechanics. His work integrates physics-based models and AI to estimate joint and ground reaction forces from motion data, with a focus on injury mechanisms in contact sports. With degrees in Sport Science and Biomechanics from Rome and Loughborough, Andrea brings both domain expertise and technical depth to Forceteck’s core engine.​​​​​​

Zak is a specialist in sport science and musculoskeletal modelling. With a background in sports biomechanics and computational simulation, he applies advanced modelling techniques to extract meaningful insights from movement data. At Forceteck, Zak focuses on translating complex biomechanical outputs into clear, actionable metrics for coaches working in high-performance sport.​​​​​

Marie-Marthe brings a unique blend of structure and creativity to Forceteck. Trained as an accountant and certified in Sophrology, she leads operations, internal workflows, and external communications with clarity and care. Her diverse background helps keep the team grounded, focused, and inspired.​​

Josh is a machine learning engineer and biomechanist with a PhD from the University of Bath. His research focused on integrating machine learning with wearable sensors to decode human movement and prevent injuries in sport. He’s worked across both sport tech and clinical innovation developing running analytics, cycling optimisation tools, and AI-assisted prosthetic design. At Forceteck, Josh leads product management and bridges biomechanics and data science to drive intelligent performance solutions.

Pete is an experienced athletic performance coach and sports tech specialist, currently leading athletic performance for Chelsea FC. With a background in elite strength, speed, and conditioning, and previous roles at Bristol Bears, Leicester Tigers, and  Leicester City, he brings deep practical insight into how data and technology can drive results on the field. At Forceteck, Pete advises on product validation and practitioner engagement.​​​
